Private lender Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd on Friday (July 3) reported a 33% year-on-year increase in gross advances to ₹14,374 crore as of June 30, 2026, while total deposits rose 29% to ₹14,634 crore, according to its provisional business update for the first quarter of FY2027.
Disbursements during the quarter stood at ₹2,954 crore, up 31% from a year earlier but 4% lower than the preceding quarter. Excluding supply chain finance (SCF), disbursements were ₹2,552 crore, rising 32.9% year-on-year and declining 7.1% quarter-on-quarter.
Retail deposits increased 38.5% year-on-year to ₹12,781 crore, while bulk deposits declined 11.1% to ₹1,852 crore. CASA deposits rose 53.4% year-on-year to ₹3,072 crore, although the CASA ratio eased to 21% from 22.6% in the previous quarter.

Collection efficiency stood at 97.8% for one-EMI collections, 99.2% overall and 99.2% for the inclusive finance portfolio. The bank's gross non-performing asset (GNPA) ratio was 6.6% at the end of June, compared with 6.5% in the previous quarter and 8.5% a year earlier.
The bank said it continues to cover its eligible portfolio under the Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units (CGFMU) scheme as part of its risk management approach. As of June 2026, around 98% of its inclusive finance portfolio was covered under the scheme.
As of June 30, 2026, the bank's gross NPAs stood at ₹931 crore, with provisions of ₹372 crore and net NPAs of ₹559 crore. It said ₹387 crore was claimed and received under the CGFMU scheme on July 1, 2026, while ₹134 crore remained claimable.
