Private lender Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd on Thursday (July 23) reported a 114% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹75 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹35 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Net interest income (NII) increased 27.8% year-on-year to ₹316 crore from ₹247 crore. The bank’s asset quality improved during the quarter, with net non-performing assets (NPA) declining to 1.27% from 4.21% in the previous quarter.

Gross non-performing assets (NPA) stood at 6.6% at the end of the quarter, compared with 6.55% in the preceding quarter.
