As many as 8.86 crore shares of Suzlon Energy Ltd. changed hands in the pre-market block window on Monday, June 9, according to data available so far.
The number of shares that have changed hands amounts to 0.7% of the company's total equity.
The total value of the transaction is said to be worth ₹624 crore. Official buyers and sellers in the transaction are not clear as of now.
According to the term sheet accessed by CNBC-TV18, Suzlon Energy's promoters Tanti Family & Trust had planned to sell 20 crore shares of the company through the block deal.
Floor price of ₹64.75 is a 2.9% discount to Suzlon Energy's closing price on Friday. This takes the total transaction value to ₹1,295 crore. There will also be a lock-in of 180 days post this deal for any further transaction.
As per the March quarter shareholding pattern, promoters of Suzlon have a 13.25% stake in the company. The rest is held by public shareholders.

Shares of Suzlon Energy ended little changed on Friday at ₹66.96, having risen 27% in the last one month.
