Sources told CNBC-TV18 that Suzlon Energy CFO Himanshu Mody is set to join non-bank lender Samman Capital, the erstwhile Indiabulls Housing Finance, in a leadership role.
Suzlon Energy's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Himanshu Mody is set to relinquish his role at the renewable energy services provider, sources in the know told CNBC-TV18.
The sources also said that Mody is set to join non-bank lender Samman Capital, the erstwhile Indiabulls Housing Finance, in a leadership role.
Himanshu Mody had joined Suzlon Energy as a CFO in August 2021 and has presided over the financial turnaround that the company has seen, including a net debt free balance sheet, through QIPs, rights issue and other methods.
Samman Capital currently has assets under management (AUM) of close to ₹66,000 crore.
Suzlon Energy is also set to report results today for the June quarter.
CNBC-TV18 reached out to Suzlon Energy who did not offer a comment on the story.
Shares of Suzlon Energy are trading 1.2% higher at ₹64.08 ahead of the earnings announcement.
