TCS partners with ICICI Securities to upgrade its retail trading and brokerage platform

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Tuesday, April 22, said it has partnered with ICICI Securities to modernise its retail trading and brokerage platform.

TCS said it is looking at delivering a scalable, high-performance trading solution for ICICI Securities customers, through this collaboration.

TCS added that it will deploy the trading solution of TCS BaNCS, which will help ICICI Securities improve the agility of its platform and provide customers with an intuitive, state-of-the-art trading and wealth creation experience tailored to the evolving market demands.

The collaboration will also enhance ICICI Securities' key brokerage functions, including order management, connectivity to major exchanges like BSE, NSE and MCX, online risk management, clearing and settlement, corporate actions, customer management and contracting, the company said.

"This initiative will ensure seamless integration with leading exchanges and facility a more agile and robust trading ecosystem in one of the world's fastest growing markets," R Vivekanand, president, BFSI products and platforms, TCS, said.

ICICI Securities' MD and CEO TK Srirang said adopting TCS BaNCS will empower the company's customers with a seamless and high-performance trading ecosystem.

TCS shares were up 0.13% at ₹3,325.8 apiece. The stock has declined 19% this year, so far.
