A 23-year-old student from Telangana pursuing higher studies in the United States has gone missing in Boston, triggering concern among her family members in Nalgonda district. Her parents have appealed for help as authorities continue efforts to trace her whereabouts.
Koya Sreeja Reddy, a native of Shabdullapuram village in Kanagal mandal of Nalgonda district, was last seen on the night of November 2. According to the Boston Police Department, she left her residence in the Edison Green area of Dorchester at around 9.45 pm and has not returned since.
The Boston Police Department issued a missing-person alert on November 4 and launched efforts to locate her. Police suspect that Sreeja may be in the vicinity of Carson Beach or Harbor Point. They have also appealed to members of the public to share any information that could help establish her whereabouts.
Sreeja reportedly moved to the United States around a year ago to pursue a master's degree. She is studying at the University of Massachusetts Boston and was staying with other Telugu students.
As per her friends' accounts, she went out for a walk while returning from birthday celebrations of a friend but did not return home.
Her disappearance came to the attention of her family after her friends in the US informed them about the incident. Her parents, Koya Yadagiri Reddy and Roopa, have been deeply distressed since learning that their daughter is missing.

Sreeja is the only daughter of Yadagiri Reddy and Roopa, a farmer couple from Shabdullapuram village. The family has been waiting for updates as the search for her continues in Boston.
The news of her disappearance has caused concern among relatives and residents of her native village. Her parents are seeking assistance to trace their daughter and bring her home safely.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear. Police have asked the public to come forward with any information that could help locate the 23-year-old.
