US President Donald Trump criticised the previous administration’s policies, blaming them for economic mismanagement and current financial challenges. Virtually addressing the World Economic Forum, Trump vowed to confront the economic chaos and implement policies to rebuild financial stability.
“My administration is working with unprecedented speed to address the disasters we inherited from an inept group of people and resolve every crisis facing our country,” Trump said.
He accused the prior government of contributing to $8 trillion in deficit spending, imposing restrictive energy policies, burdensome regulations, and hidden taxes. Trump said these measures triggered the worst inflation crisis in modern history and resulted in high interest rates affecting Americans and the global economy.
