US President Donald Trump on Wednesday shared an AI-generated video of Gaza where the war-torn territory has been depicted into a resort style destination complete with a “Trump Gaza" hotel.
The video which the US President has shared on his Truth Social platform reimagines the strip as a beachfront city with Tesla-filled streets named ‘Trump Gaza’.
The video begins with a view of ruins in Gaza, with the inscription “Gaza 2025" appearing in green, followed by “What’s next?" in red, white, and blue. The video then features scenes of skyscrapers and children looking up to the sky as dollar bills rain down.
The video further features a golden statue of Trump in the streets and AI-generated tech billionaire Elon Musk eating food and throwing cash in the air.
A child is seen carrying a golden balloon of Donald Trump’s face before an AI version of the president is seen dancing with a woman.
The video ends with Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a deck chair in bathing suits sipping beverages near a swimming pool with “Trump Gaza" in the fictional city.
Trump Gaza Number One
In the backdrop, a music track can be heard with the lyrics, “No more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here. Trump Gaza shining bright, golden future, a brand new light. Feast and dance, the deal is done, Trump Gaza number one."
Trump’s Proposal To Takeover Gaza
The US President earlier this month said the United States will “take over" the Gaza Strip and permanently re-settle Palestinians to make the territory “the Riviera of the Middle East", after a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington.
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site," Trump had said, without offering details about how he would manage the Gaza takeover or manage the war-torn territory.
Later, White House clarified that Trump has not committed to deploying the military in the Gaza Strip under his plans to “take over" and “own" the war-torn Palestinian region.
Israel-Hamas War
In Gaza, over 48,000 people have died according to their health ministry, most of whom are women and children. Israel too lost over 1,200 people during the attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023 which triggered the war.
