This year, the UP Board successfully conducted the Class 10 and 12 exams within a span of 12 working days. Thanks to various proactive measures implemented by the board, the incidence of malpractice among candidates significantly decreased compared to previous years. Merely 48 students were found cheating, with the lowest number of impersonators recorded at 37.
In efforts to prevent malpractice during exams, the board had implemented 24x7 online monitoring of examination centers and strong rooms. Additionally, over 290,000 CCTV cameras equipped with voice recorders were installed across 135,000 examination rooms and premises of all 8,265 exam centers. This comprehensive surveillance was complemented by the establishment of a command and control center at the board's headquarters and all five regional offices.
