US-Israel-Iran War News Today Latest Updates: Explosions were reported in Tehran on Monday as the war between Iran and Israel escalated, with attacks and economic fallout spreading across the West Asia. Iranian state media said Tehran fired its first missiles toward Israel following the appointment of new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Ali Khamenei.
In response, the Israeli military said it launched a new wave of strikes targeting Iranian “regime infrastructure,” including missile launch sites and internal security command centres.
Regional tensions widened as explosions were heard in Doha, while authorities in Qatar said 313 people had been arrested for sharing images and “misleading information” during the attacks. In Lebanon, an Israeli air strike hit the southern suburbs of Beirut after warnings that facilities linked to Hezbollah would be targeted.
