US President Donald Trump said Tuesday morning that US military forces carried out a second "kinetic strike" in Venezuela on his orders.
In a statement, Trump said the strike targeted narcoterrorists from Venezuela who were transporting illegal narcotics in international waters.
"The strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in international waters transporting illegal narcotics," Trump said.
According to Trump, three terrorists were killed in the operation.
