US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street have seen a sharp surge in the early hours of Thursday, Indian Time, after a US trade court termed President Donald Trump's imposition of global tariffs as 'illegal' and was subsequently blocked. The ruling can now be appealed by the Trump administration in the Federal court. The Dow futures are up 550 points, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures are up 95 points and 450 points respectively. The futures also received a boost from Nvidia's results, that surpassed expectations for the quarter gone by and met expectations for the ongoing quarter despite the export curbs to China. The stock rose 5% in extended trading. Fed officials justified their wait-and-watch approach to determining the interest rate path forward, according to the minutes of the recently concluded FOMC meeting. Asian markets have opened higher after the boost to the Dow futures. The US Dollar Index is back above the mark of 100, while oil prices have also gained in early trading in a boost to risk assets.
