At an event on Wednesday, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that the Fed will await greater clarity on tariffs before determining any policy stance. He also said that Trump's tariff policies could slow growth and raise inflation. He also said that this could increase the Fed's dilemma in balancing growth or controlling inflation.
