US Stock Market LIVE Updates: US stocks are ticking toward another record on Wednesday (July 23) following a trade deal between the world’s No. 1 and No. 4 economies, one that would lower proposed tariffs on Japanese imports coming to the United States. The S&P 500 was 0.5% higher, coming off its latest all-time high. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 431 points, or 1%, as of 1:51 p.m. Eastern time, and the Nasdaq composite was 0.3% higher.
