According to a report by the Sikh Press Association, the accused, believed to be in his early 40s and known for suspiciously "befriending" under-16s in West London's Hounslow area, began forming a relationship with the Sikh girl when she was around 13 years old.
The girl was rescued by more than 200 members of the Sikh community.

Over 200 Sikhs came together in West London to rescue a teen girl allegedly abducted by a Pakistani grooming gang, with the suspect taken into police custody after hours of demonstrations.
