The Israel-Iran military conflict entered second day as both countries fired missiles at each other's military targets in a major escalation.

As tensions escalated between Israel and Iran for the second night in a row, a barrage of missiles was exchanged, targeting each other’s military installations on Friday night. Intense air defence activities in Tehran’s Moniriyeh, near the residence of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the country’s presidential office, were seen in a video published by the local media.
On June 12, Israel launched ‘Operation Rising Lion’ and struck nuclear and military targets deep inside Iran. The strikes killed top military commanders and nuclear scientists, and inflicted heavy damage to a key uranium enrichment site. Khamenei vowed to retaliate against Israel’s action and launched the ‘True Promise 3 operation’ the following night, firing ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv.
