US President Donald Trump’s love for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events is well-known. On Sunday, as Trump attended a UFC event for the first time since taking office for the second time, he couldn’t contain his excitement and broke into an impromptu dance.
In the video that has gone viral, Trump is seen grooving to rap rock music "American Bad Ass" by Kid Rock as he raises his hands to the cheering crowd. Trump was flanked by his close aides, including Elon Musk, Senator Ted Cruz, FBI director Kash Patel, Secretary of State Marco Rubio among others.
This is the second time since Trump has attended the UFC event as the US President. He attended one back in 2019 during the first term of his presidency. Trump was spotted hugging UFC CEO Dana White - who went on stage to deliver a victory speech in Trump's presence on election night in 2024 - as well as podcast host Joe Rogan.
Trump walked into the event with his two children and walked out of the event at around 1 am.
The highlight of the event was when Trump went for a handshake with his Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was looking in the other direction at that moment.
However, when Kennedy's wife, actress Cheryl Hines, extended her hand to greet Trump, the US President walked past her. Hines gave a quizzical look to her husband, who then brought her back to Trump. As the two exchanged pleasantries, the apparent snub quickly went viral on social media.
