Colombian President Gustavo Petro shot off a warning to Donald Trump, daring the US President to “come and get me” in the face of increased threats from the White House following the capture of Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro.
“Don’t threaten me; I’m waiting for you here if you want. I don’t accept invasions, I don’t accept missiles, I don’t accept assassinations - I accept intelligence,” Petro said, as ties between the US and Colombia spiralled downward.
