The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has released a notification for the recruitment to the post of constables in West Bengal Police 2024. As per the schedule, the application forms for
WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024
will be accepted online during the period from 07.03.2024 to 05.04.2024.
The WBPRB aims to fill a total of 10255 vacancies for the post of Constables through this recruitment drive.
Age Limit
The applicants should be at least 18 years old but not older than 30 as of January 1st, 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories.
Educational Qualifications
The applicant must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
Language
Applicants should have proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Bengali, except for permanent residents of the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. For them, the rules of the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 apply.
