There was a brief lockdown at the White House on Tuesday after an object was thrown over the security fence. The incident occurred at approximately midday when Secret Service agents responded to reports of an object being hurled over the North Lawn fence.

Later, addressing reporters, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said someone had thrown their phone over the fence, thus prompting immediate security measures.

According to the details, the Secret Service implemented a full lockdown of the White House grounds and temporarily closed Pennsylvania Avenue to traffic.
