But when she watched the recording, she noticed something strange — all the words appeared flipped or mirrored. Confused, she wondered why it looked wrong even though she had written everything correctly.

This has likely happened to you as well, the text in selfies often appears reversed. But from today you don’t have to worry about this! here is a simple trick to fix this issue. With just a quick setting adjustment, you can ensure that all the words in your selfie videos or photos appear correctly, whether you’re using an Android or an iPhone.

For iPhone Users

Go to Settings on your iPhone.Scroll down and tap on Camera.Look for the Mirror Front Camera or Mirror Front Photos option.Turn it off.Now, your selfie photos and videos will appear correctly, with all text the right way round.

For Android Users

Open the Camera app.Switch to Selfie mode.Tap on Settings.Look for an option such as Mirror Selfie, Flip Selfie, or Save as Previewed.Turn that option off.Once this is done, the words in your photos and videos will no longer appear flipped.

Using a Laptop or Webcam

Many built-in webcam apps mirror the video feed by default. To fix this:

Check the camera settings in your video recording software or meeting platform (like Zoom or Microsoft Teams) for a “Mirror my video" option and disable it.Alternatively, use third-party apps or tools that allow manual adjustment of webcam settings.
