Xiaomi 17 series launch in India and globally is just a few weeks from now according to reports, and now we are getting more details about the new Xiaomi flagships in the market and how much people in India might have to pay for these devices.  Xiaomi introduced the new 17 series flagship phones in China back in September last year, and the wait has been unusually long to see these devices announced in India and other regions. 

But new details suggest we could finally see them out of China by early next month. As we have said before, the Xiaomi 17 series is tipped to have the regular 17 and the 17 Ultra models for India, while the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max look to be missing from the lineup for other countries.

The latest tip is around the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra price in India which has been revealed through a report. 

Xiaomi 17 Series India Price Leak: What They Might Cost 

As hinted by a tipster, the Xiaomi 17 series price in India could be higher than what the brand charged for its 15 series models. Abhishek Yadav, via a post on X, claims the Xiaomi 17 will be priced around Rs 80,000 while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra might cost Rs 1,25,000 which takes it into the real premium Ultra segment in the country. 

It is not certain that Xiaomi will price its new flagships in this range but all signs, including the ongoing memory price hike, hints at a definite increase from the previous models. The company is also looking to position itself as a premium brand in the market, which will be a challenge when the likes of Apple and Samsung have been the leaders of this pack. 

Xiaomi 17 Series Launch: What To Expect 

Xiaomi 17 sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage that are paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The new phone gets Android 16-based HyperOS 3 version out of the box. It has a 50MP triple camera system with Leica-tuned lenses. And finally you have a 7,000mAh battery this year supported by 100W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds but the global variant could have different specs.
