'You Can Come Here…': Did Fadnavis Invite Uddhav Thackeray Over To The Ruling Side?

Two days after Uddhav Thackeray shared a light moment about how the two Shiv Senas should come together, it was time for Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to make a quip or two.

A few surprising remarks here and there during the ongoing monsoon session, and Fadnavis sparked speculation about future political machinations that may or may not concern Thackeray. 

During his speech at the Maharashtra legislative council on Wednesday, the chief minister chose to directly address his former ally.

“(Uddhav ji) you can be considered for inclusion here (in the ruling party)," Fadnavis said, while appearing to laugh and share a joke. “…we don’t have any scope to come there (opposition bench), but you can come here (ruling party). This can be considered…we can think about it differently…"
