Indian students in Tehran have been relocated from the city as a safety precaution, with the Indian Embassy facilitating their movement amid the escalating situation. Other Indian nationals with access to their own transport have also been advised to leave the capital.
In a separate effort, some Indians have been helped to exit Iran via the Armenia border.
The Ministry of External affairs said that the embassy is in constant contact with the Indian community and is providing all feasible assistance. Officials have indicated that further advisories may be issued as the situation continues to evolve.
