A shooting took place outside Chicago's O'Hare Airport on Wednesday morning. At least one person was injured. According to USA Today, police were called to a report of a disturbance among several people on the street outside Terminal 2. As the disturbance turned violent, shots were exchanged. A 25-year-old man was hit with two bullets in the lower body.
The victim was rushed to Lutheran General Hospital, where he is in stable condition. Police also confirmed that they are interrogating a possible suspect. However, officials haven't provided any other details about the motive behind the shooting or if all the people involved knew one another. The authorities are actively investigating the case.

Investigation Underway
Witnesses on the scene reported the scene as chaotic. Detectives are zeroing in on a white BMW parked outside Terminal 1 as part of the investigation.
A witness, who was sleeping in an adjacent hotel, told WPIV-TV that a bullet hit a window. She described how earplugs probably prevented her from being more scared. She stated that remaining motionless in her room possibly saved her. Another guest in the hotel reported hearing multiple gunshots.
The shooting is under investigation, and the police are still collecting information to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
