Adobe is adding AI into its products and the latest update makes it easy to read through complex contracts for work.

The new AI feature will help millions read through complex contracts
Adobe has now rolled out a new significant update to its Acrobat AI assistant that could help you better understand your contractual information in PDF files. Dubbed Contract Intelligence, the feature allows the PDF management software's chatbot to automatically identify contracts in files and scanned documents and summarise complex language for users to understand.
The company claims that the tool can highlight critical terms, create citations and proposed questions for specific documents and analyse changes across up to ten contract versions to ensure consistency and discrepancies. This means it could be easier for the users to spot important dates, specific policies and other crucial terms and conditions that usually get ignored in lengthy contracts.
According to The Verge, Adobe states that its objective is to save users time that they would otherwise spend time to read the often lengthy and complex documents, citing a recent poll that revealed 70 percent of consumers signed agreements without fully understanding the terms.
The Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant is currently available for $4.99 a month on an annual paid-monthly plan – but you can get a 7-day free trial. The new Contract Intelligence feature is now available worldwide on desktop, web and mobile. As per the company, currently, it only supports the English language, with more languages to follow.
The new contract intelligence feature comes shortly after Adobe updated its e-signature experience in Acrobat, by preserving document structure to boost dependability across all device types and introducing new visual progress indicators to prevent users from missing fields.
