Apple and Google want to make lives easier for people and help make the switch between Android and iOS seamlessly. These tech companies have been forced to change their stance towards each other after the regular grilling and laws imposed by the European Union (EU) regulators and more people are reaping the fruits of those efforts.

A new report claims Apple is bringing a new way to switch between these mobile platforms and we could see it appear in one of the future iOS 26 beta updates. The company has been quoted in a report confirming the plans to have this feature available in the near future. 

Android-iPhone Switch Made Easy 

The report states the initial focus of the Android to iPhone switch will be limited to the Pixel devices, starting from the Pixel 6 series to the latest model. Both Google and Apple will bring it with a future Android and iOS 26 update, respectively. 

Another report from Android Authority has given us more details. The feature could be available within the device settings and the Google services section where you could get a new Pair with iPhone or iPad option. It suggests you will get a session ID and passcode to authenticate the seamless device transfer.  

Data transfers have been a nightmare across Android and iOS devices for many years but the EU is making these companies change their tactics and make it easier for people to move across platforms. It is still early days for the feature but getting some clues about its functionality hints at the official (in beta) release expected soon.
