AWL Agri Business posted a 21% rise in Q4 net profit and achieved its highest-ever revenue, driven by strong growth in kitchen essentials and rural expansion despite elevated input costs.

 Net profit rises 21% on-year; revenue hits record high

AWL Agri Business Ltd (formerly known as Adani Wilmar Ltd) reported a 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, coming in at ₹190 crore compared to ₹157 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue rose sharply by 37.9% YoY to ₹18,230 crore, marking the company’s highest-ever quarterly revenue, supported by an 8% underlying volume growth.

EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹449 crore, up 25.8% YoY, while EBITDA margin narrowed slightly to 2.5% from 2.7% a year ago.

The company also closed FY25 with record full-year revenue of ₹63,672 crore, up 24% YoY, with underlying volume growth of 9%. It delivered its highest-ever annual operating EBITDA of ₹2,482 crore during the year.

Commenting on the performance, Angshu Mallick, Managing Director and CEO, said, “The Company has delivered another strong quarter and achieved its best-ever financial year performance. We recorded 24% YoY revenue growth in FY25 and achieved the highest-ever full year revenue of ₹63,672 crore.”

The kitchen essentials segment remained a key driver, with edible oils posting a 28% YoY revenue growth on the back of a 10% volume increase. The foods and FMCG business also showed robust momentum with a 26% rise in both revenue and volumes, while the industry essentials segment grew modestly by 2% YoY.

AWL Agri Business also unveiled a new logo and brand identity during the quarter, marking a strategic milestone. Rural town coverage surpassed 50,000 towns, and direct retail coverage rose 19% YoY to 8.6 lakh outlets, strengthening the company’s platform for future growth in emerging markets.

Ahead of the results, shares of AWL Agri Business closed 1.99% higher at ₹279.10 apiece on the BSE.
