Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd. recovered from intraday lows on Monday, April 6, after the company reported its business update for the fourth quarter over the weekend.

Bajaj Housing Finance's gross disbursement increased to ₹17,530 crore in the fourth quarter from ₹14,254 crore in the year-ago period. That is a growth of 23% from the same quarter last year.

The non-bank lender and Bajaj Finance's subsidiary's assets under management (AUM) expanded by 23% to ₹1.4 lakh crore as on March 31, 2026 compared to ₹1.14 lakh crore in the previous year. In the fourth quarter, Bajaj Housing Finance said its AUM grew by around ₹7,290 crore.

The company's loan assets stood at around ₹1.23 lakh crore as on March 31, 2026, compared to ₹99,513 crore in the year-ago period.

Bajaj Housing Finance said the information mentioned in provisional and subject to review by the statutory auditors of the firm.

Bajaj Housing Finance is India's second most-bid IPO, following LG Electronics India Ltd.

In September 2024, the Bajaj Housing Finance stock made its debut with a 114% premium to its issue price of ₹70 per share and went on to hit a post-listing high of ₹188.5 apiece. The stock is currently 58.6% below those levels.

The stock reported its worst month since listing in March 2026 as it declined nearly 15%. Ever since its debut, the stock has gained in just two months, with five consecutive months of losses as on March.

Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance were trading 0.9% at ₹77.3 apiece at 9.25 am on Monday. However, it was up 0.3% at ₹78.2 apiece at 11 am.  The stock has declined 19.5% this year, so far. It is just 10% away from its issue price of ₹70.
