Balaji Amines reported a sharp rise in fourth-quarter earnings, helped by improved operating performance and margin expansion.
The company posted a net profit of ₹63.2 crore for the quarter ended March 2026, up 57.8% from ₹40.1 crore a year earlier, according to an exchange filing.
Revenue from operations rose 11.9% year-on-year to ₹394.8 crore, compared with ₹352.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
EBITDA jumped 58% to ₹94.2 crore from ₹59.7 crore a year ago, while EBITDA margin expanded to 23.9% from 16.9%, the company said in the filing.
The board recommended a final dividend of ₹11 per equity share, or 550% on the face value of ₹2 per share. The dividend will be payable after shareholder approval at the company’s 39th Annual General Meeting.
Under segment performance, revenue from the Amines & Speciality Chemicals business rose to ₹393.5 crore from ₹350.9 crore a year ago, while the Hotel Division revenue stood at ₹8.4 crore compared with ₹9.3 crore last year.
Segment profit before tax for the Amines & Speciality Chemicals division increased to ₹83.7 crore from ₹51.4 crore, while the Hotel Division reported profit before tax of ₹1.6 crore versus ₹2 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of Balaji Amines ended higher on Wednesday, May 13, by 1.61% at ₹1,361.00 on the NSE.
