Shares of Balaji Amines Ltd. gained over 1% on Tuesday, April 28, after the company updated exchanges on the impact of ammonia supply disruptions amid the ongoing West Asia conflict.
The company said its operations were partially affected due to disruptions in ammonia availability, leading to certain plants being temporarily non-operational.
However, it added that the global ammonia supply chain is now showing signs of improvement, allowing a gradual restart of production of ammonia-based products, including methylamines, ethylamines and their derivatives.
Balaji Amines said it continues to closely monitor the situation and remains in active coordination with suppliers to ensure stable operations going forward.
Shares of the company were trading 1.25% higher at ₹1,323.25. The stock has gained nearly 20% so far this year.
