Bangladesh actor who essayed Sheikh Hasina's role jailed in attempted murder case

Bangladeshi actor Nusraat Faria, who essayed the role of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's biopic 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation', has been sent to jail in connection with an attempted murder case involving Enamul Haque, under the jurisdiction of Vatara Police Station. The case is reportedly tied to the July movement.

The order was issued on Monday by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nasrin Akter, following Faria's appearance in court.
