Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita on Tuesday reached Punjab’s Hoshiarpur for a 10-day Vipassana session starting Wednesday. The couple was escorted by a convoy, which raised the eyebrows of many. While AAP MP Swati Maliwal said Kejriwal was bigger than that of US President Donald Trump, BJP and Congress leaders expressed dissatisfaction over the Punjab government’s ‘VIP treatment’ to Kejriwal.

AAP MP Swati Maliwal took to X, sharing a video of the convoy and asking, “Why is Kejriwal so afraid of the people of Punjab who gave him so much love?"

“Kejriwal, who criticised the entire world for VIP culture, is today roaming around with a security cover bigger than that of Donald Trump. It is amazing how a great state like Punjab has been turned into a means of achieving luxuries," she added.
