Bihar Assembly Election 2025 Highlights: Bihar Will Keep 'Jungle Raj' At Bay, Vote For Good Governance, Says PM Modi

Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bihar is a “matter of pride” for the people of the State and expressed confidence that the NDA will win more seats in this election after the results are announced.

Speaking to ANI, Giriraj Singh said, “Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Bihar is a matter of pride for the people of Bihar. In 2010, NDA won 206 seats, and this time we will win even more than that because they (Mahagathbandhan) have sold tickets”

Janshakti Janta Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav on Friday said that everything depends on the mood of voters, and everything will be clear with time.

“Everything depends on the mood of the voters. Only time will tell what happens… What should I do (if Tejashwi Yadav has been announced as the CM face)… I face no challenge in Mahua… I dont consider anyone as my enemy… Our agenda is to only work for Bihar,” he said.

LJP (Ramvilas) MP Arun Bharti said, “Tejashwi Yadav cannot even keep his alliance intact, how will he form the government? He has become the CM nominee, but he will remain so. It is very important to see how the NDA has unanimously shared seats well in advance and our coordination can be seen in our events and even has an impact on the voters…”

It was a mistake to briefly join hands with RJD, says Nitish at PM’s maiden election rally in Bihar.

Kumar asserted that Bihar was making progress with generous help from the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and urged the people to vote for the NDA in the assembly elections.

PM Modi said, “Inspired by the leader of the people, Karpoori Thakur, we are transforming good governance into prosperity. But on the other hand, you know better than me what the RJD and Congress are saying and doing…These people are out on bail in scams worth thousands of crores.”

“The people of Bihar will never tolerate this insult to the leader of the people, Karpoori Thakur. They will never tolerate it,” he added.

PM Modi paid homage to Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur in Bihar’s Samastipur district, and he later met his family members. He claimed that Mahagathbandhan leaders are out on bail in cases of corruption and are now trying to steal the Jan Nayak title, which is associated with Karpoori Thakur.

Independent candidate from Gopalganj, Anup Kumar Srivastava, joins Jan Suraaj Party in the presence of party founder Prashant Kishor.

After Jan Suraaj candidate Shashi Shekhar Sinha withdrew his nomination from the Gopalganj assembly constituency, Jan Suraaj is now supporting independent candidate Anup Kumar Srivastava.

RJD MP Misa Bharti said, “PM Modi comes to Bihar for election rallies at government expense. Have you ever heard him speak about Bihar? He only makes allegations against our family and my father. They have no vision for Bihar. There is a double-engine government in Bihar. Has a single factory been set up here in the last 20 years?”

Have they ever thought about providing benefits to the youth? How will unemployment and migration be ended?, she added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, expressing his deep respect for the late leader.

Prime Minister Modi will pay tribute to Karpoori Thakur at Karpoori Gram. He will address rallies at Samastipur and Begusarai today. CM Nitish Kumar will also be present.
