Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin came together with other world leaders at the Shanghai Cooperation Council (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China.
The gathering highlighted the prominence of the forum as a platform for regional cooperation, with a lighter moment capturing attention as Modi, Chinese President Xi and Russia’s Vladimir Putin were seen interacting ahead of the session.
PM Modi and Putin were also seen embracing each other on the sidelines. The two leaders were seen sharing a handshake and a hug on the sidelines of the gathering.
Modi later posted pictures with Putin on X, describing their meeting as “always a delight." The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the Russian leader later in the day
