PM Modi China Visit, SCO Summit 2025 Live Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver an address at the plenary session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin today.

On the sidelines of the gathering, the Prime Minister is slated to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The meeting comes as trade tensions rise with Washington, after US President Donald Trump imposed steep 50 per cent tariffs on Indian exports, the highest across Asia, in response to New Delhi’s continued import of Russian crude.

PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday.

Both leaders agreed to work toward resolving long-standing boundary issues and emphasised the need to expand cooperation, marking PM Modi’s first trip to China since the border clashes of 2020 strained relations.
