Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has attempted to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Ek Hai To Safe Hai’ slogan and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Batoge To Katoge’ call with his ‘Daroge Toh Maroge’ pitch.
Kharge alleged that the BJP was trying to polarise the voters ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly Elections and added that the leaders were “fear-mongering" with these slogans.
“Yogi visited here a few days ago. He is the head of a ‘math’ and wears a dress donned by sadhus. But sadhus must be compassionate and unite people to safeguard humanity. But, he said, ‘Batoge Toh Katoge’. You must now understand ‘Daroge Toh Maroge’ (If you get scared, you will die)," Kharge said while addressing a rally in the Palamu-Latehar region.
