Devendra Fadnavis: 'I'll Take Over Maharashtra CM Duty If Picked For The Job, Decision Soon'

Suspense continues over the Chief Minister's post in Maharashtra where Mahayuti returned to power with a huge majority.

BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday cleared the air around the chief minister’s post stating that a decision in this regard will be taken soon.

He is likely to visit the national capital soon where he may meet the party’s top leadership.

Speaking to the media, he said that he will take up the role of the chief minister if the alliance decides the same.

“If they decide the Chief Ministerial post for me, I will take over that duty. Once, the decision for Chief Minister is made, we will decide on other ministerial posts keeping in mind the wishes of the alliance members," Fadnavis said.
