Donald Trump continued his abrasive tone against Zelenskyy as he said, “I've been watching for years, and I've been watching him negotiate with no cards."

US President Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump acknowledged that Russia “attacked" Ukraine as he talked about the controversy surrounding his remarks that Ukraine “should have never started" its war with Russia. The US President had earlier called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a “dictator without elections".
Talking about his comments, Donald Trump said, “Yes, Russia attacked, but there was no reason for Vladimir Putin to attack. You could have talked him out of it. That war should have never happened. Every time I say, “It’s not Russia’s fault," but Biden said the wrong things, Zelenskyy said the wrong things, and they got attacked, which was a bad thing to do. But Russia could have been talked out of it so easily."
Asserting that Vladimir Putin wants to end the war in Ukraine, Donald Trump praised the Russian President and said, “He wants to make a deal. And he doesn’t have to make a deal, because if he wanted, he’d get the whole country."
Donald Trump continued his abrasive tone against Zelenskyy as he said, “I’ve been watching for years, and I’ve been watching him negotiate with no cards. He has no cards. And you get sick of it. You just get sick of it. And I’ve had it. He’s been at a meeting for three years, and nothing got done. So, I don’t think it’s very important to be at meetings, to be honest with you. He makes it very hard to make deals."
His remarks came after a meeting between the US and Russian officials in Saudi Arabia seeking a possible settlement to the Ukraine conflict in which Kyiv was not invited. Following the meeting, Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, “A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left." To this, Zelenskyy responding by saying that the US President was living in a Russian “disinformation" bubble.
Elon Musk also attacked Zelenskyy saying he was “despised" by Ukrainians and that Donald Trump made the correct decision by leaving the Ukrainian leader out of the talks with Russia.
Elon Musk accused Zelenskyy- without evidence- of running a “massive graft machine feeding off the dead bodies of Ukrainian soldiers."
Backing Donald Trump’s demand that Ukraine should hold elections, Elon Musk said, “If Zelenskyy was actually loved by the people of Ukraine, he would hold an election. He knows he would lose in a landslide, despite having seized control of ALL Ukrainian media, so he cancelled the election."
