ECI Bypoll Results Live Updates: The results of by-elections to five assembly seats in four states will be announced on Monday. The counting of votes began at 8 am amid tight security. The bypolls were held on June 19 for two seats in Gujarat – Visavadar and Kadi assembly seats – and one each in Punjab (Ludhiana West), Bengal (Kaliganj), and Kerala (Nilambur).

The voting process went smooth in most states, barring a few scattered incidents. A fierce contest was seen between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Pinarayi Vijayan’s Left Democratic Front (LDF).
