In an exclusive interview with India Today's Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai, veteran journalist and geopolitical expert Fareed Zakaria talked about the Israel-Hezbollah war, Iran's missile attack on Israel, the upcoming US presidential election and on a slew of issues.
On being asked about how frightening is the specter of escalating conflict in West Asia, Fareed Zakaria said, "I do think that we are now at a moment of real danger of something escalating into a regional war. Because what has happened now is that we have shifted from the Israel-Gaza issue, which is a separate issue in a sense, and there are all kinds of issues relating to disproportionate use of force and things like that."
