'They Have Helped Us In Every Situation': Nur Mohammed on India's Support
In an interview with India Today, Nur Mohammed, a leader from Nepal's Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), discussed the severe flood and disaster situation facing the country. Highlighting the scale of destruction, he stated, "It's one of the biggest disaster in our country," noting that bridges and roads have been washed away, making remote areas difficult to reach. He explained that the Nepalese government, along with the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force (APF), is working tirelessly to rescue citizens and relocate affected populations despite challenging terrain and adverse weather. Expressing gratitude for Indian assistance, including rescue aircraft and relief materials, Nur Mohammed acknowledged India's consistent support as a neighboring country. He assured that full efforts are being made by the government and security forces to safeguard all lives, including missing foreign nationals, as rescue operations continue in hard-hit regions.
