Google is bringing a Gemini student offer in India which lets them access Gemini AI Pro subscription for free, that is claimed to bundle features worth over Rs 19,000. This is a limited period deal that is available for students above 18 years old which means the company is targeting the collegegoers in the country with this offer. 

So why is Google bringing this student-centric offer in India? The company cites a study which has shown that 95 percent of students in the country who use Gemini AI feel more confident in their lives. 

Google Gemini Student Offer: What Is The Deal And Who Can Apply? 

Google has set the conditions that are needed for you to be eligible for the offer: 

18 years of age or olderResident of IndiaVerify your student status using a valid school email address as and when requested;Personal Google AccountGoogle Payments account with a qualifying form of payment when signing up; andSubscribe to Google AI Pro through the Google Play Store

Once the 1 year free offer ends, Google will charge you the standard monthly charge for Google One subscription. 

If you tick all these boxes, you can head over to the Google Gemini AI Pro offer page and fill in details like school, first name, date of birth and email-ID. Google says, “you must currently be enrolled in a degree or certificate-granting, accredited school of education." And the company does the verification for the Google One using SheerID, which is a trusted partner.
