Google has officially revised the prices of the older Pixel flagship models in India
Google Pixel 9 launch brings good news for buyers who have been wanting a good deal on the Pixel 8 Pro, 8A or even the Pixel 7a in India.
The Pixel 9 series has been finally unveiled but the bigger news is linked to the older Pixel models that have now become cheaper in India. If you have been eyeing the current Pixel phone lineup in India, you might be in luck as the launch of Pixel 9 models is giving Google the chance to slash the prices of the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 8 series models in the country.
The company has started its local production for the Pixel 8 in India which could have some impact on these changes but in most cases, you see the price revised when the next-generation of devices roll out.

These are the new prices of the Google Pixel 8 series and the Pixel 7a models in India that will be going live in the coming weeks:

– Pixel 8a 128GB – Rs 49,999
– Pixel 8 128GB – Rs 71,999
– Pixel 8 256GB – Rs 77,999
– Pixel 8 Pro 128GB – Rs 99,999
– Pixel 8 Pro 256GB – Rs 1,06,999
The biggest price cut is available for the Pixel 8 Pro which is now starting at under Rs 1 lakh in the market for the first time. You also get Rs 4,000 price change on the Pixel 8 version and up to Rs 2000 if you consider buying the Pixel 7a version.
Google Pixel 8 Pro, 8A Features – What You Get For The Money
Out of the lot, Pixel 8a is the most recent model to launch in the market. The 8a sports a 6.1-inch Actua OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone weighs 188 grams and comes with IP67 rating like the previous model. Google has powered the Pixel 8a with the Tensor G3 chipset that also has the Titan M2 security co-processor.
Talking about cameras, Pixel 8a gets a dual-rear system that consists of a 64MP wide and 13MP ultrawide sensors. The front of the phone has a 13MP shooter. Google has packed the Pixel 8a with a 4492mAh battery that supports wired and wireless charging.
The Google Pixel 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate with up to 2,400 nits peak brightness. The Pixel 8 Pro is powered by Google’s custom-made Tensor G3 chipset with Titan M2 security coprocessor. The device runs Android 14 out of the box. Coming to the battery, the Pixel 8 Pro by a 5,050mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
For imaging needs, the Google Pixel 8 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP wide camera, 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens with Super Rez Zoom up to 30X. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 10.5MP front camera.
