Hulk Hogan took his last breath on July 24 at the age of 71. He died of cardiac arrest at his home in Florida. His death left several shocked, with the wrestling world also mourning his demise.
Taking to X, he wrote, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans."

According to a report by Essentially Sports, Laila Ali, the daughter of Muhammad Ali, once talked him out of dying by suicide.
On the Today show, Hogan revealed that Laila helped him overcome a “dark part" in 2009 by talking him out of taking his own life.
It was when Hogan was going through a rough phase in his life, including his divorce from his first partner, Linda Claridge.
During this period, Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, was involved in a serious accident that resulted in brain damage to his friend.
Hulk Hogan has been open about how a phone call from Laila helped him get through this difficult time.
Hogan was pronounced dead at his Clearwater, Florida, home after Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to reports of cardiac arrest. His representatives issued a statement: “We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend."
