Trinamool Congress leader Kalyan Banerjee triggered controversy after making a remark about the chief election commissioner during a protest in Kolkata.
Addressing supporters at a “Dharna Mancho", Banerjee referred to an incident involving West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said, “CEC behaved very badly with Mamata Banerjee, if he would not have been CEC, I would have cut his finger that day."
