A day after announcing a 25% tariff on Indian imports, US President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to criticise India’s trade policies and its ties with Russia. In his post, Trump dismissed concerns over India’s relationship with Moscow, stating: “I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care."
He claimed the US has done “very little business" with India due to its “very high" tariffs, calling them “among the highest in the World." Trump also lashed out at former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, warning him to “watch his words" and accusing him of “entering very dangerous territory."
