United States President Donald Trump, who addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos, said that he loves Europe, but it's not heading in the right direction.
Addressing the World Economic Forum, Trump said, "Certain places in Europe are not even recognisable, frankly, any more. We can argue about it, but there's no argument. I don't want to insult anybody and say, I don't recognise it and that's not in a positive way. That's in a very negative way. I love Europe, and I want to see Europe go good, but it's not heading in the right direction," he said.
Trump further declared that 'the United States is in the midst of the fastest and most dramatic economic turnaround in our country's history.' He highlighted a shift away from the policies of the Biden administration, claiming to have defeated inflation and secured record-breaking investment commitments totalling nearly $20 trillion.
