Indian Air Force’s aircraft deployed for ‘Operation Brahma’ relief mission in the earthquake-hit Southeast Asian nation since March 29 faced mid-air cyber attacks, according to a report.
The IAF’s C-130J aircraft faced a cyberattack involving the “spoofing" of its satellite-based GPS signals, which disrupted and misled the aircraft’s navigation system during flight.
According to a report by Times of India, the pilot swiftly responded to the crisis and immediately switched to the internal navigation system (INS) to ensure safe navigation.
