US Vice President JD Vance revealed that he was confronted by a group of pro-Ukraine protesters while walking with his 3-year-old daughter, Mirabel, on Saturday. Mirabel is the youngest daughter of the vice president and his wife, Usha Vance.
Vance took to X to recount the horrifying incident. He stated that protesters from the group "Slava Ukraini" followed him and his daughter when they went for a walk. The group started shouting at him, which left Mirabel anxious and scared.
He wrote, “Today while walking my 3-year-old daughter a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared.”

Ultimately, JD Vance decided to confront the protesters in a bid to get them to stop following his daughter.
Vance claimed that he had a respectful conversation with the protestors with most of them agreeing to stop following the father-daughter pair. However, the US vice president labeled them as “sh*t” persons for targeting a toddler in a political demonstration.
“It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a shit person,” Vance added.
This is not the first instance when protesters have confronted the vice president. JD Vance and his family were met by a large group of protesters during their ski trip to Vermont, leading to the Secret Service relocating the family to a hotel.
Vance later clarified that his family barely noticed the protestors, and they were moved to an undisclosed location as part of secret service protocol.
Pro-Ukraine supporters have become vocal against President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance after the two had a heated exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office on February 28.
